- Part-time At New Moon ABA, we are dedicated to providing neuroaffirming, play-based, and family-centered Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autistic children.
As part of our team, you will provide direct therapeutic services to our clients in collaboration with your supervising BCBA. You will receive hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for advancement all while making the difference in the lives of children. Must be available Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to autistic children in their homes, community, or in a daycare setting under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Implement individualized skill acquisition and behavior support plans developed by the BCBA. Collect and record data on client behavior and skill progress. Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care. Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client. Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients, their families, and other educational and therapeutic professionals Adherence to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and data protection.
Qualifications:
Must have experience working with children; experience working with neurodivergent children is preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High School Diploma (Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Related Field preferred) Must be RBT certified or willing to become certified (Training provided. ABA Graduate students exempt). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions. Commitment to neuroaffirming and family centered approach to care
