Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to the next level in a dynamic school-based setting near Jersey City, NJ. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with students, staff, and families to make a true difference in educational outcomes.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing. Experience developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans in educational settings. Strong ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform programming. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents. Passion for supporting the growth and development of diverse learners.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete functional behavior assessments and design individualized behavior intervention plans for students. Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior support strategies grounded in evidence-based practices. Collect, analyze, and report data to monitor intervention effectiveness and student progress. Communicate consistently with school personnel and families regarding student needs, progress, and programming. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education. Participate in team meetings to review cases, collaborate on solutions, and enhance program effectiveness school-wide.
