Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a difference in the educational journey of students by using your expertise in behavior analysis to shape positive outcomes. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is committed to supporting students within a collaborative school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid BCBA certification with active licensure Experience working in a school or educational setting Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring tools Skilled at training and supporting school staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments for students and provide thorough analysis Design, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support strategies Train educators and paraprofessionals in ABA techniques and program fidelity Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences to advocate for student needs Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and relevant guidelines This contract role is a rewarding way to apply your BCBA expertise to foster student success near Jersey City, NJ.
