Description:
Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking 4 District Wide Registered Behavioral Technicians, with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
Meet requirements set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) including passing the Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) exam Maintain RBT certification Demonstrated interest in children and education Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Computer knowledge
Job Goals:
To implement behavioral strategies that address unwanted or promote wanted behaviors functionally as well as academically to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
Performance Responsibilities:
Assists individual students in need of special attention. Implement classwide behavior plans. Addresses challenging behaviors, promotes positive behavior change, and teaches students effective strategies for emotional regulation. Implements procedures for behavior reduction with fidelity. Implements antecedent strategies and/or consequences, under direct supervision of the district BCBA and the certified teacher in the classroom, to address student behavior throughout the school day. Works with individual students to implement strategies and/or behavioral plans developed by the BCBA. Collects and graphs data on students' progress and behavior patterns, ensuring that behavior plans are accurately monitored and adjusted as needed. Assists in identifying tools and manipulatives to implement strategies and/or behavioral plans. Assists teacher with non-instructional classroom duties such as snack, toilet and clothing routines. Addresses daily life and functional skills. Performs assigned bus duties for identified students as assigned by the BCBA or classroom teacher. Escorts special students to class and accompanies them to all student activities in or out of the building. Implement antecedent strategies and/or behavioral plans, when needed, during the bus ride to and from school as identified by the BCBA. Work with Special Education students in mainstream classes as identified by the BCBA. Any and all other reasonable duties assigned by the administrator, classroom teacher, or BCBA.

Salary :
