As a Behavior Technician with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with special needs while receiving comprehensive training and support.
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach essential life skills in various settings, including homes, schools, and community settings. Behavior Technicians play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based interventions, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals. Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques. Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods. Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living. Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence. Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings. Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions, implement behavior intervention plans, and collect accurate data. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings as needed. Commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs in reaching their full potential.
Benefits:
Beginning $25-$30/
