Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with diverse populations, and a commitment to patient care and ethical standards. Responsibilities Design and implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior analyses. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions. Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians or paraprofessionals supporting client services. Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct intake assessments for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of individual needs and goals. Educate families about behavioral health strategies, progress updates, and treatment options. Ensure all services adhere to ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant state regulations. Experience Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Proven experience in behavioral therapy, especially working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Demonstrated expertise in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities requiring behavioral interventions. Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation within clinical settings. Experience conducting patient assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations related to behavioral health. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare privacy standards such as HIPAA. Prior experience in special education or related fields is preferred but not required.
