Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist (Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the quality and consistency of behavioral therapy services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will ensure that all clinical practices adhere to established standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA). You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess patient progress, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning. Oversee the implementation of behavioral therapy programs, ensuring fidelity to ABA principles and techniques. Monitor clinical sessions for compliance with established protocols and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient progress and treatment efficacy, maintaining accurate medical records. Review medical documentation, patient records, and intake information to ensure completeness and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with clinicians, caregivers, and educational teams to optimize individualized care plans. Ensure all services meet regulatory standards for behavioral health and special education programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, documentation requirements, and best practices in behavioral health. Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and patient care strategies. Prior experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments within a clinical or educational setting. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, and analyze data accurately for quality assurance purposes. Knowledge of special education practices and working within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable. Certification as a BCBA or equivalent credential is required; experience working under supervision as a BCBA is a plus.
