Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in-homes, in daycare, in schools, in community settings, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to provide support and education to clients, helping them achieve their behavioral goals and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies. Provide patient care by assisting clients in daily activities and promoting independence. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client progress and interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's needs. Monitor and report changes in client behavior, ensuring timely communication with the supervising BCBA. Utilize medical terminology effectively while documenting client interactions and progress. Engage with clients in a positive manner, fostering a supportive environment conducive to learning and growth. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and principles is highly valued. Understanding of medical records management and documentation standards is beneficial. Experience in patient care settings is a plus, demonstrating the ability to provide compassionate support. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to contribute effectively to their development is essential.
