• 24/HR Crown Park is seeking a driven and compassionate Behavioral Health Tech Aide to join our dynamic team!

This role is responsible for providing assistance and support for patients and residents with mental, behavioral, and developmental health issues by assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, and fostering a safe, therapeutic environment in accordance with the individual's plan of care. The Behavioral Health Tech will also be responsible for maintaining proper medical documentation and providing crisis intervention and support. This position is supervised by the Director of Therapeutic Recreation.

Behavioral Health Tech Education & Experience:

Current student in psychology bachelor program or related field encouraged to apply (preferred not required) Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, long-term care or related healthcare setting (recommended, but not required) Knowledge of DOH regulations and CMS guidelines (recommended, but not required) Behavioral Health Tech Personal Attributes & Skills required: Crisis management and intervention Selflessness and commitment to providing exceptional service Ability to collaborate with other disciplines to meet the needs of residents Ability to manage conflict, advise and coach staff and residents Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills Attention to detail and critical thinking skills Accountability, integrity, and courage Excellent computer skills Behavioral Health Tech Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch Ability to write, speak, read English language
