As an RBT, you will work directly with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies tailored to each client's personalized care plan. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients during therapy sessions by applying principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors. Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervising clinicians and team members to ensure consistency in treatment delivery and goal achievement. Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, independence, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential. Experience in special education or teaching roles can enhance your effectiveness in this position. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and data collection methods is required. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification is necessary; ongoing training or coursework related to behavioral health is a plus.
