  • Part-time, Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
In this role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, helping children develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with families, support individual care plans, and contribute to positive behavioral health outcomes. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA strategies to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and analyze data on client progress, behavior patterns, and skill acquisition to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and communication skills, fostering independence. Support educational goals by applying teaching techniques aligned with special education standards and behavioral health best practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and care strategies. Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines related to patient care, medical records management, and confidentiality. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Skilled in assisting clients with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies. Proficient in data collection methods for tracking client progress and treatment effectiveness. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Excellent teaching abilities combined with patience and compassion for working with individuals with diverse needs.
