Job Description

Job Summary Leeway Special Education Preschool is seeking a part time BCBA to conduct assessments for children with behavioral challenges and work with staff members to create meaningful goals and treatment plans. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with children with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities - Leeway School requires a knowledgeable professional who will also assist the full time staff: By creating functional, specific, observable, and measurable goals for staff to implement Provide at least one observation per week of students with 1:1 Aides Meet with 1:1 Aide staff one time per month Analyze data and implement data driven program changes Support staff through specific goals, training sessions and communication Regular communication with behavior team, teachers, teacher aides and 1:1 aides Experience A minimum of two years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred however recent graduates are welcome to apply Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and creating tailored treatment plans is preferred Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient information confidentiality. Previous work experience in special education settings is a plus.
