out of 5 stars Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ACDS Westchester - Scarsdale, NY ACDS Westchester is a specialized school serving young children with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and related diagnoses. Our program provides instruction and behavioral support within structured classroom environments, including 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 classrooms . We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support classroom teams through the implementation of behavior analytic programming while working directly with students in a school-based setting. Qualifications & Experience Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Strong foundational knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Minimum of one (1) year experience working as an RBT Experience working with young children (birth-5 years old) with developmental disabilities, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and ADHD Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to receive and provide feedback across multiple professional levels Experience in a school-based setting preferred Position Responsibilities Utilize Behavior Skills Training (BST) to model implementation of behavior analytic programming for classroom staff Implement individualized student behavior plans within the classroom and school setting Collect and document behavioral data, including ABC data, interval data, anecdotal observations, and trial-by-trial data Provide in-the-moment support to classroom staff during episodes of challenging behavior Graph and analyze data related to skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals Work directly with students in individual and small-group settings to implement skill acquisition programs and reinforcement systems Maintain regular communication with the supervising BCBA, including providing updates, asking questions, and offering feedback once tasks have been completed Attend weekly 30-minute group supervision meetings Why Join ACDS Westchester ACDS Westchester offers a collaborative and supportive school environment focused on high-quality programming and professional growth.
