Position:

Coach-Mentors is recruiting for an experienced behavior tech/behavior specialist to work with a young adult (19) MALE on the autism spectrum in his home and help with daily structure and routine, positive behavior supports, coping and self-regulation skill development. Must be available 1:30 pm

• 4:30 pm, Monday
• Friday, and be comfortable working with a client with behavioral challenges including self-injury, aggression and property damage.

About You:

You have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, with emotional dysregulation and behavioral challenges. ABA training or certification (e.g., RBT, BCaBA, or equivalent experience), and/or crisis management/de-escalation training. Previous NYS fingerprint clearance preferred. You have a college degree in psychology, social work or closely related discipline or you are in process of completing your degree but have several years of relevant work experience. You must be flexible and highly dependable, with a strong sense (and demonstrated record) of personal integrity and solid work ethic. You are relationship oriented, have a unique ability to connect with others and yet have clear, healthy boundaries. You can pass a national criminal background check
