Technical Proficiency Staff development Full Job Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will work for the entire network to ensure we are compliant with all state requirements. This position will be responsible for student observation, treatment plan development, progress reports and other related responsibilities. This position will travel to and from our campus locations to provide coaching and support to our intervention specialists . Some direct and/or in-direct staff management may be required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct, write, and implement comprehensive functional behavior assessments. Write and implement school safety plans for given scholars Support connecting Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for social and emotional learning and behavior needs for our scholars. Support scholars with behaviors across all school environments as necessary: i.e., lunchroom, recess, transportation, classroom, hallways, etc. Support scholars transitioning back from separate facilities Provide behavioral support and/or direct services/treatment to scholars (and aides) Provide ongoing professional development and training to school staff as needed Curate, prepare, and make materials relevant to the needs of your scholars and educational staff to document and maintain positive behavior. Attend and provide input within educational meetings in regards to assigned scholars. Supervise, coach, and provide professional development to our RBTs and RBT candidates.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's degree in special education requiredExperience:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in the public school setting Experience utilizing technology in an instructional environment Experience with functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plan (BIP) in the school setting Experience coaching teachers Experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods Experience with academic planning and career exploration Licensure and Certification(s): BCBA and COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) certificate in good standing maintain current National Provider Identification Number (NPI)Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals. Ability to keep information confidential. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive. Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product. Ability to work in a fast-paced, with speed, precision and accuracy Requires working as part of a group to solve issues and problems.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
