Job Description

Position:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Makridis Learning is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role involves implementing treatment plans designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. If you're not RBT-certified yet but are willing to learn, we provide the training and support needed to earn your certification.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with children and teens, primarily with autism, as well as those with other behavioral or developmental diagnoses. Support skill development in communication, academics, daily routines, and social interactions. Collect and document data on client progress. Follow structured intervention strategies and respond to challenging behaviors appropriately. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (no prior experience required; training provided). Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow structured plans and take feedback. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Work Environment:
Clinic-based setting, working directly with children and teens. Fun, physical, and fast-paced role that requires active engagement. Hands-on work with structured intervention strategies. Collaborative team environment—everyone is expected to jump in and support where needed. Monday-Friday availability from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM required. Training and supervision provided to ensure high-quality services.
