Yesterday Job Description New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Licensures:
Bachelors or Graduate-Level Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure Either a substitute teaching or teaching certificate/licensure from the Ohio Department of Education
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to effectively conduct behavioral assessments Ability to monitor quality of behavior strategies and plans Knowledge and skills in behavior support strategies and techniques Basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses and psychotropic medications. Ability to write articulate correspondence Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing Flexibility in work schedule The successful candidate must also: Acquire and maintain the status of Registered Behavior Technician or other BACB-approved credential within the first 6 months of employment. Acquire and maintain a certified instructor status in a comprehensive, integrated program that prevents, de-escalates, and, if necessary, intervenes when behaviors pose a threat of harm to self and others. Acquire and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification The successful candidate will be compensated commensurate with skills and experience.
