Paid Holidays Paid Summer Vacation Generous Paid Holiday Calendar Paid sick days Ongoing Staff Trainings Fun, Collaborative Work Environment Supervisor Support Work/Home Life Balance Opportunities for Growth ABA Connections is a locally-owned company that provides applied behavior analysis services (ABA) primarily to preschool-aged children with an autism diagnosis in a clinic setting. Respect for clients, integrity, compassion, clinical excellence, life-balance, teamwork and collaboration are among some of the values that make ABA Connections a unique and inviting work environment. ABA Connections is looking to hire a registered behavior technician (RBT) to provide one to one behavioral treatment, as described in the child's treatment plan, to children with autism. A board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) assesses the child, creates goals and data sheets, evaluates and updates programs, and provides ongoing supervision to the technician for about 10-20% of the time. The technician is responsible for delivering the services and working with a child for about 2-3 hours/session. This includes setting up for the session, reviewing program instructions, implementing treatment, taking data, keeping the child motivated and engaged, responding to ongoing supervision and feedback, and seeking advice or asking questions when needed. The skills taught within ABA are: social interactions, social communication, play, flexibility, and problem behavior reduction. Clients usually range from 2-5 years in age. ABA Connections is open from 8am to 3pm, offers weekly staff training, Paid Holidays and sick, supervisor support, opportunities for growth, and is currently offering employment for 25-32 hours/week. We also have a fun team culture!
Applicants must:
Have a HS diploma or GED Be a BACB Registered Behavior Technician Have current CPR with BLS or willing to obtain certification Clear criminal background check Have reliable transportation Have the ability to bend, kneel, be on their knees, and lift up to 30 lbs
