In this rewarding position, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks, to support independence. Support teaching and learning through engaging activities tailored to each individual's needs and goals. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate closely with BCBAs, parents, teachers, and other team members to ensure consistency across environments. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards while working with sensitive client information and medical records. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance. Compassionate approach to working with individuals with special needs in educational or clinical settings. Effective teaching skills combined with patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.
