Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An exciting contract assignment is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with robust experience in supporting students within educational settings. This full-time opportunity, spanning from September 8, 2026, to December 18, 2026, is based entirely onsite and offers the chance to provide essential classroom support during a maternity leave. You'll work at a single school site, ensuring consistent engagement and hands-on impact with students and staff alike.
Key Qualifications:
Active SPED certification/license to practice as an RBT in Oregon Proven experience working in school environments as a Registered Behavior Technician Ability to provide contact information for your three most recent supervisor references Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for engaging with both students and staff Flexibility to work full days onsite (37.5 hours/week) as part of a dedicated team
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavior intervention and classroom assistance aligned with student IEPs and district protocols Collaborate with supervising BCBA and educational staff to implement tailored behavioral strategies Monitor, collect, and document behavioral data to demonstrate student progress Support educators in the creation and maintenance of a positive, inclusive learning environment Provide consistent, compassionate, and evidence-based support to students requiring behavioral intervention Follow up on direction from assigned supervisors (Supervision TBD) and adapt as necessary within the school's framework This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships and gain valuable experience supporting student success in a vibrant school community.
