Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students and staff at a single school site in a vibrant educational community. This full-time, onsite position is designed to provide essential classroom assistance and coverage for maternity leave from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026. You'll collaborate closely with special education professionals to foster a supportive, dynamic environment where every student can succeed. The role centers around delivering direct behavioral interventions, following individualized education plans, and working alongside educators and supervisory staff. Whether you're assisting with classroom activities or providing one-on-one support, your expertise will make a lasting impact during this assignment. Ideal candidates will bring the following experience and credentials: Qualifications & Desired Experience Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT) Current special education certification or license in Oregon Prior experience providing behavior support in school settings Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills Willingness to provide contact information for your three most recent supervisor references as part of the application process Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions for students Support classroom management and assist with implementation of IEPs Collect data and report on student progress Work collaboratively with special education staff under assigned supervision Maintain a positive, structured, and respectful environment for all learners If you're eager to make a meaningful contribution in a classroom setting and meet the requirements, we encourage you to take the next step in your career journey. to help shape a supportive, engaging learning environment this fall!
