Northeast Philadelphia, PA (Home, Community, and School-Based Settings) Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Abundant Life Family Services (ALFS) provides direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and related behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), the RBT implements individualized behavior intervention plans designed to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote skill acquisition across communication, social, adaptive, and emotional domains. This role is essential to the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and family-centered behavioral health services across home, school, clinic, and community-based settings. Key Responsibilities Direct Clinical Service Delivery Provide one-on-one ABA services in accordance with individualized treatment plans Implement behavior intervention strategies as designed by the
BCBA/LBS
Support skill acquisition in areas such as communication, self-regulation, social skills, and daily living skills Utilize trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices Behavior Intervention & Crisis Support Implement proactive and reactive behavior strategies, including replacement behavior teaching Use approved de-escalation, grounding, and coping strategies during escalated situations Maintain client safety and dignity during high-intensity behaviors in accordance with training and policy Data Collection & Documentation Accurately collect behavioral data during sessions Complete session notes, incident reports, and required documentation in a timely manner Communicate clinical observations to supervising clinicians Team Collaboration & Professional Conduct Collaborate with BCBAs, LBSs, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and community partners Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training activities Training, Compliance & Certification Maintain active RBT certification and required clearances Complete all mandatory trainings, supervision requirements, and continuing education Adhere to ALFS policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements Authority & Accountability This role has authority to: Implement assigned treatment plans and behavior interventions This role is accountable for: Accurate implementation of clinical programs Quality and timeliness of documentation Professional conduct and ethical service delivery Compliance with supervision and certification requirements Measures of Success Consistent and accurate implementation of behavior plans Demonstrated client progress toward treatment goals High-quality data collection and documentation Positive collaboration with families and clinical team members Maintenance of RBT certification and compliance standards
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree (required) Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Completion of 40-hour RBT training and successful BACB exam Ability to work in home and community-based settings Required clearances:
PA Child Abuse, Criminal History, FBI Fingerprints Preferred:
Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
