Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a Behavior Specialist. You'll work in a dynamic school environment, collaborating with teams to enhance the learning experience for students requiring behavioral support. Your expertise as a BCBA is essential for developing strategies, guiding classroom staff, and providing direct assistance to students with unique needs.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience working as a Behavior Specialist in educational settings Familiarity with CPI techniques (training provided if not already certified) Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and making actionable recommendations Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective team collaboration
Core Responsibilities:
Participate in team calls to provide insights and guidance when students face behavioral challenges Support both AS (Autism Support) and ES (Emotional Support) classrooms, helping staff build effective behavior plans and modeling strategies in real time Assist in the delivery of behavioral training for school staff, contributing to a safe and supportive educational environment Oversee ongoing data collection related to student behavior, analyze findings, and offer concrete suggestions to the intervention team Conduct routine observations in general education classrooms to assess student interactions and identify areas for support Maintain a visible, consistent presence in the building during student hours; respond promptly to immediate needs Step into a meaningful role where your expertise will drive positive outcomes for staff and students alike.
