Job Description

Overview • BCBA• Join our dynamic team as BCBA, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive growth and skill acquisition. Your dedication will support clients through comprehensive assessments, data collection, and tailored therapeutic strategies, fostering independence and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support strategies. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient care by conducting ongoing behavioral health evaluations and supporting clients through therapeutic sessions. Assist with training staff or caregivers on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques to promote consistency across settings. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking behavioral progress. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations within a behavioral health context. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and educational professionals.
