Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by leveraging your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Specialist in this rewarding contract opportunity. Situated near Lititz, PA, this school-based role focuses on fostering positive behavioral outcomes and empowering educational teams throughout the academic year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification or equivalent background as a Behavior Specialist Experience working with children in academic settings, especially those with behavioral and/or emotional needs Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training is a plus—training can be provided by the school Excellent communication, observation, and team collaboration skills Strong data analysis and intervention planning abilities Commitment to being present and engaged during student hours
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in team calls to support children experiencing behavioral challenges Collaborate within Autistic Support (AS) and Emotional Support (ES) classrooms, helping build tailored behavior intervention plans and modeling strategies for staff Conduct regular observations in general education settings to assess and address students' needs Provide behavioral training and guidance to school staff Oversee data collection, monitor progress, and offer actionable recommendations to the team Maintain a visible, supportive presence in the school, engaging directly with students and staff during school hours This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with passionate professionals in a supportive environment, where your expertise directly shapes student success and staff confidence.
