Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Seeking experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join a school district in Montoursville, PA, for a contract position through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Four positions are available, offering flexible full-time or part-time schedules. This role focuses on providing expert behavioral support while mentoring and supervising future BCBAs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the professional growth of ABA apprentices by overseeing their supervised hours, essential for BCBA certification. Responsibilities also include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), and delivering staff training to enhance student support programs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required Proven experience providing direct behavior support services in educational settings Strong supervisory and mentorship skills to guide ABA apprentices Proficiency in conducting FBAs and designing PBSPs Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Flexible to work onsite, hybrid, or virtually
Location:
Montoursville, PA Responsibilities:
Provide behavior analytic support to classroom teams within the district Supervise and mentor ABA apprentices, ensuring they receive the appropriate mix of restricted and unrestricted supervision hours for certification progression Collaborate with educators and staff to implement behavior interventions and training Complete FBAs and develop individualized PBSPs for students as needed Support a positive learning environment aligned with district behavioral goals
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexible options for full-time or part-time employment
