In this role, you will utilize your expertise in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA) to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral therapy programs grounded in applied behavior analysis principles. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive support plans. Provide patient care by delivering direct therapeutic services, including intake assessments and ongoing behavioral interventions. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Educate families and team members on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and best practices for supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Behavior Specialist or equivalent credential with certification in behavior analysis (e.g., BCBA or BCaBA). Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education principles, and diagnostic evaluation methods. Ability to perform patient assessments, data collection, and medical documentation accurately within HIPAA guidelines. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
