Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a vibrant school setting just outside of Philadelphia, PA. In this contract opportunity, you'll deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions, helping students reach their social, academic, and behavioral goals.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or therapeutic settings Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions Strong communication skills with both students and staff Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and collect data accurately Professional, compassionate, and reliable with a positive attitude
Your Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Work closely with students to increase positive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors Collect and record behavioral data to monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and family members to ensure consistency and support Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
