Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting a passionate and determined student as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a well-structured contract assignment. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across the remainder of the 25/26 school year, Extended School Year (ESY), and continuing into the 26/27 academic year.
Key Details:
Assignment runs from now through June 4, 2026, with additional ESY coverage July 1-30, 2026, and continues for the 2026/2027 year (August 25, 2026-June 4, 2027). Hours during the regular school year: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am - 2:30 pm.
ESY schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential. Prior school-based or pediatric experience valued. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and behavioral challenges. Ability to model patience, understanding, and professionalism. Skilled in implementing behavior intervention plans and data collection. Strong communication and crisis management capabilities.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral support for an 18-year-old male student. Provide direct behavioral intervention in accordance with established plans. Support daily classroom integration and adapt strategies to changing student needs. Maintain detailed data and report on student performance and progress. Collaborate closely with behavior analysts, educators, and family members. Maintain a safe, positive, and consistent environment, especially during challenging or physically demanding moments. Placed in a collaborative educational setting, you'll be instrumental in empowering a student's growth and helping to create positive daily experiences. The director is actively scheduling interviews and encourages dedicated RBTs ready to make an impact to take advantage of this unique, extended assignment. Ready to inspire and support?
