Early Intervention, IBHS and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services, Educational & Therapeutic Services and Services for Adults with Disabilities. Position Overview The Lead BCBA is a key member of clinical leadership within the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations (55 Pa. Code Chapter 1155). The Lead BCBA promotes high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement. This role serves as a mentor and leader to clinical staff, supporting operational integrity and updates across the clinical team. This position carries a mixed caseload alongside administrative and operational duties; the balance of clinical to administrative responsibilities will be determined with the selected candidate. This role reports into the Clinical Director. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on clinical mentorship to BCBAs, BCs, BHTs, and Mobile Therapists, supporting staff growth and service quality across the IBHS program Assist the Clinical Director with individual and group supervisions; complete on-site staff supervisions Support organizational updates, technology roll outs, policy changes, and new initiatives, ensuring clear communication and effective implementation at the clinical level. Design and deliver training materials supporting new hire onboarding, ongoing professional development, and compliance education Partner with the Compliance Director to ensure clinical staff are audit-ready and consistently applying documentation and service delivery standards in accordance with 55 Pa. Code Chapter 1155 and MCO requirements Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, analyze clinical data for program improvement, and serve as an escalation resource for complex cases and inter-agency coordination Required Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or BCBA) Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably IBHS Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services Minimum 2 years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience Demonstrated knowledge of Pennsylvania IBHS regulations and managed care Ability to complete on-site supervisions across the Scranton, PA service area Preferred Qualifications Experience with CCBH, Community Care, or other Pennsylvania MCO credentialing and authorization processes Familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in behavioral health settings Experience with Systems of Care principles and wraparound service models Experience developing clinical training materials or facilitating professional development Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
