Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic BCBA Specialist (PRN) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide expert behavioral therapy services, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a PRN (pro re nata or as-needed basis) specialist, you will support ongoing clinical needs, ensuring high-quality patient care through data-driven interventions and adherence to best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your contributions will help foster meaningful progress and improved quality of life for our clients. Duties Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on skill acquisition and reducing challenging behaviors. Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to inform treatment planning and measure progress. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, medical staff, and caregivers, to ensure cohesive care delivery. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Support intake processes by assisting with initial evaluations and developing personalized care plans for new patients. Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and ways to support ongoing development at home. Requirements Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Ability to work independently on an as-needed basis while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in all tasks. Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers.
Pay:
$75.00 - $90.00 per hour
