Job Description
The Behavior Analyst/Behavior Consultant (BA or BC-ABA) leads the treatment team and provides specialized services in a 1:1 setting with children who present with a variety of behavioral health disorders across the home, community, and school settings under the supervision of a clinical director. This position is telehealth-hybrid eligible. Required Education, experience, and skills we are looking for.
- Masters degree required in applied behavior analysis or related field.
- Current LBS License in good standing
- Must provide and pass mandatory clearances (Childline Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history clearances).
- Mandated Reporter Training Required.
- One year or more experience providing ABA services. Desirable skills and experience we are looking for.
- Active BCBA Certification in good standing
- Bilingual in Spanish (Optional).
- Completed First Aid/CPR for toddlers and children required within 90 days of hire from a valid certifying body (e.g., ARC, AHA). We provide training.
- Valid and reliable mode of transportation.
- Knowledge and proficiency in how to use modern technology such as a personal computer, iPad, or tablets preferred.
- Knowledge and proficiency to use Microsoft Office Suite/365 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Form, Outlook, etc.) preferred.

- Completion of initial assessments in a timely manner (30 days or less) that will include all of the following: functional behavior assessments, parent/caregiver interviews, functional analysis, medical and educational record reviews,
- Completion of an individualized treatment plan within 15 days of the date of the FBA's completion or less by developing goals that are centered on behavioral function and skill acquisition that meets the client's developmental needs as deemed appropriate.
- Negotiate and establish a service schedule based on the parent's or caregiver's availability prior to the initiation of BHT-ABA services.
- Adhere to 90% or more utilization of
BA/BC-ABA
hours requested.- Attend mandatory face-to-face supervisions twice per month with the clinical director via Microsoft Teams.
- Lead
BHT-ABA IBHS
group supervisions based on caseload and complete regulatory documentation within 24 hours and send for signatures on an approved company-supplied account.- Model evidence-based strategies in the presence of the BHT-ABA and caregivers to demonstrate replacement skills for improving communication, self-help behaviors, and develop appropriate social and play skills by following treatment plan goals as prescribed.
- Collect IOA data on goals based on continuous and/or discontinuous methods of recording (frequency, duration, rate, whole/partial interval, etc.).
- Complete progress notes within 48 hours of the end of session.
- Develop instructional materials to support the treatment team and families where required.
- Implement preference assessments to keep informed of client motivation.
- Communicate using approved methods with the clinical supervisor, parents, and other external stakeholders when necessary (e.g., BHT/client cancellations).
- Actively and professionally respond to feedback delivered by the Clinical Director and leadership.
- Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the Department of Children and Youth Services via Childline within 24 hours.
- File incident reports for any instance of injury to self or others during treatment hours within 24 hours.
- Willing to work across various settings (home, community, and school). Session lengths vary depending on the location of service. What we offer
