Job Description
BCBA/BCaBA Opportunity Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team as a Contracted Behavioral Consultant (1099). This is a unique opportunity for clinicians looking for flexible, self-directed work outside of traditional insurance-funded ABA settings. A portion of this work is remote. This role is ideal for independent BCBAs who excel at managing their own schedules and caseloads. The work is initially part-time contract, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a full-time contract role based on performance and client growth. Key Responsibilities As a Behavioral Consultant, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior support plans. Providing consultation and training to support staff, family members, and community partners. Implementing and monitoring data collection systems for program evaluation. Directly providing behavior-analytic services to a diverse caseload. Maintaining clear, consistent communication with clients and the contracting agency. Attending meetings on a quarterly basis with the client's team. The behavioral consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral support services to a diverse clientele. This includes working with adult clients residing in residential and community settings, as well as providing support to child and family clients in their homes and other relevant environments. The scope of work encompasses assessment, development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized behavior support plans across these settings to promote positive behavioral outcomes and enhance quality of life. Qualifications Must possess active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges is required. Willingness to work with a non-traditional, varied client base that is not funded through standard insurance-based ABA models.
