- Provide consultation and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in their homes and in the community
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess progress and effectiveness of interventions
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers, OTs, SLPs, and ABA providers, to develop individualized plans
- Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to address specific needs and goals
- Monitor and adjust intervention plans based on ongoing assessment and feedback
- Provide training and guidance to parents, caregivers, and other support staff
- Adhere to all DDRS guidelines and the 460 IAC Section 6 in delivery of services.
Experience:
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, ABA, HSPP, Counseling etc.)
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with reading, conducting, and/or writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans We are currently looking for Behavior Consultants in the Northern indianapolis region up by Carmel and willing to work with clients in Northern Indianapolis/Carmel/Westfield.
