Client Transition Specialist Needed! We're not a big-box ABA company, and we're proud of it! If you onboard as a BCBA with our team, you can count on opportunities expanding into your area of interest(s) Meet with the Management team to discuss/review tasks and weekly schedule Assist with development of behavior recommendations Present information at team meetings, if needed The Client Transition Liaison is responsible for the oversight of current older learners preparing to transition to social skills group and/or more appropriate community partners, where deemed necessary, as well as the screening and onboarding of older learners that meet the skill requirements of our social skills group. The Client Transition Liaison will collaborate with our certified staff members, caregivers, community partners, and the executive team to ensure the most effective and safe transition for all BCOTB learners when BCOTB services are no longer appropriate or the client's clinical needs are outside the scope of our staff's expertise and training. The Client Transition Liaison, in accordance with the BACB code of ethics, will work to ensure there is no lapse in services for learners when possible. Key Responsibilities Manage a small caseload Conduct behavioral and skill-based assessments including FBA, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, & ESDM (training for assessments provided) Develop, implement, and modify individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies as clinically appropriate Collaborate with families and caregivers to support skill generalization across settings Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards, payer requirements, and HIPAA guidelines Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical meetings, and ongoing training initiatives Ensure treatment integrity, safety procedures, and quality assurance standards are upheld Conducts quarterly meetings with case managers at eachclinic location, either in-person or virtually, to review clients and identify learners approaching transition to community providers or to the Saturday Social Skills Group. Stays up to date with community providers to ensure appropriateness for referrals, services, and timelines for transitions. Contacts and coordinates appropriate list of service providers for learner to transition to, as needed. In collaboration with the child's case manager, provides caregivers with a transition plan, inclusive of the timeline, and regularly communicates with caregivers, case managers, and community partners to identify and troubleshoot any potential issues. Ensures customer satisfaction regarding clinical services before and after the transition to the community partner. Oversees that all appropriate documentation is sent to the established new provider. Oversees the return of client's personal belongings provided to family in professional manner. Recommends Saturday social skills group, where appropriate, during the transition phase. Develops and oversees the curriculum for Saturday social skills at the assigned clinic location. Seeks approval for all Social Skills-related purchases. Identifies, plans, & implements quarterly 'group life skills' event: E.g., movie theatre experience, dining out experience, school photos, etc. to better prepare the children for community experiences Updates the executive team on identified client transitions on a monthly basis. Updates the executive team on Social Skills progress on a monthly basis. Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field Active BCBA certification in good standing Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills CPR/First Aid certification and crisis management training preferred or willingness to obtain Reliable transportation for local travel, if applicable If you are seeking a rewarding opportunity with a stable, mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families, we encourage you to apply!
