Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral therapy initiatives and support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this vital role, you will design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral interventions that promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life. Your expertise will guide families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive behavioral change through data-driven strategies and compassionate patient care. Duties Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Conduct patient assessments, intake evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring to tailor effective treatment strategies. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to ensure treatment fidelity and measure client progress. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and provide training on behavioral strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Provide supervision and mentorship to behavior technicians or staff involved in delivering behavioral services. Requirements Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential. Demonstrated experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education principles. Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and manage intake processes effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality of medical records. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
