The part-time BCBA is responsible for designing, supervising, and monitoring individualized ABA programs for clients in the home setting, ensuring clinical quality and family collaboration at every level of service. This role provides a meaningful opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive, mission-driven team while maintaining a flexible schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs. Complete initial and ongoing skills assessments using standardized tools (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R). Write and update treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with payer requirements and clinical best practices. Provide direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through structured observation, performance feedback, and competency checks. Conduct caregiver training sessions and collaborate with families to promote generalization of skills across settings. Monitor client progress data and adjust programming based on data-driven decision-making. Maintain complete and timely documentation within the practice management system (Motivity). Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with families, schools, and other providers as appropriate. Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and all applicable regulatory and payer requirements. Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and continuing education activities. Required Qualifications Education & Experience Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience delivering ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related developmental disabilities. Experience working in home-based settings preferred. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and developing individualized skill acquisition programs. Strong data analysis and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with families, RBTs, and outside providers. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal oversight. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn ABA practice management software (Motivity). Certifications & Licenses Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB (required). New York State licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain (required prior to service delivery).
