Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and will be committed to providing high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role requires a professional who is skilled in patient assessment, data collection, and medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Duties Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients. Implement and oversee behavioral therapy programs based on applied behavior analysis principles. Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral interventions and strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health. Qualifications Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities, is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles. Proficiency in data collection methods and medical terminology related to patient care. Familiarity with intake processes, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and medical documentation standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
