Job Description

Position Summary Coastal Healthcare Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary pediatric practice in a flexible, hybrid role focused on assessment, supervision, and clinical leadership. This position is ideal for a BCBA who values thoughtful case design, interdisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality ABA rather than high-volume direct service. As a BCBA with Coastal, you will lead behavioral assessments, design and oversee treatment programs, and provide clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) while collaborating closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, developmental therapists, and families to support children across natural environments. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Program Design Conduct functional behavior assessments and other skill-based evaluations. Develop, review, and update individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment programs aligned with each child's developmental and functional goals. Monitor treatment effectiveness through data review and clinical analysis, making programmatic adjustments as needed. Supervision & Clinical Oversight Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to RBTs and behavior therapists to ensure high-fidelity, ethical, and effective service delivery. Oversee the clinical implementation of ABA programs across home, school, and community settings. Support staff development through training, modeling, and competency-based guidance. Documentation & Compliance Complete session notes, reports, and data analysis in accordance with Coastal Healthcare Services and funding-source requirements. Track supervision hours and ensure timely submission of all billing and compliance documentation. Participate in quality assurance reviews and interdisciplinary meetings. Professional Collaboration & Growth Work closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to provide integrated care. Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to program growth initiatives. Promote a collaborative, compassionate, and family-centered culture. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Active or eligible for D.C. licensure (Behavior Analyst) Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, or related conditions Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in pediatric or educational ABA settings Familiarity with Medicaid, school-based, or insurance-funded ABA service delivery Supervisory experience with RBTs or paraprofessional staff Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly encouraged to apply
