Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BCBA Trainee to join our team. This position provides an opportunity for individuals pursuing BCBA certification to gain supervised fieldwork experience while developing clinical, leadership, and operational skills within an ABA organization. The BCBA Trainee will support the clinical team through direct and indirect service activities while also assisting with administrative functions that contribute to quality client care, staff support, and organizational efficiency. This role is ideal for candidates enrolled in a behavior analysis graduate program who are seeking supervision hours and exposure to both clinical and administrative aspects of ABA service delivery. Essential Clinical Responsibilities Assist BCBAs with implementation and monitoring of treatment plans. Conduct direct client observations and collect behavioral data. Assist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction program implementation under BCBA supervision. Participate in caregiver training sessions as appropriate. Conduct preference assessments and skill assessments under supervision. Assist with graphing, data analysis, and treatment plan updates. Support quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits. Attend supervision meetings and participate in professional development activities. Collaborate with behavior technicians and clinical staff to promote treatment integrity. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and BACB ethical standards. Administrative Responsibilities Assist with staff onboarding and training coordination. Support scheduling and staff-client assignment processes. Monitor documentation compliance and follow up on missing session notes. Maintain clinical records and organizational databases. Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and training materials. Assist with client intake and onboarding processes. Participate in quality improvement projects and operational initiatives. Provide general administrative support to the clinical leadership team. Assist with cleaning and center organizational needs. QualificationsRequired Enrollment in a master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Pursuit of BCBA certification. Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. Preferred Current RBT certification. Experience with electronic health record systems. Experience in ABA clinic, home-based, or school-based settings. Previous administrative or leadership experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to accept and implement feedback. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset. Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practices. Physical Requirements Ability to actively engage with clients in various settings. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary. Ability to assist with toileting and diapering protocols Ability to assist with challenging behaviors.
