The Brand At World Upside Down Arts Studio, we combine effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or behavioral therapy with a fun and creative arts-based approach. Our team provides evidence-based sessions that integrate the arts, helping children with Autism thrive both behaviorally and expressively. We design individualized plans that allow students to participate in arts classes alongside their Registered Behavior Technician, creating valuable opportunities to generalize and apply skills from 1:1 sessions in a real-world, creative setting. Founder and Owner Joanna Puello, Founder and Director, has 25+ years of experience as an educator, nonprofit founder and director, instructional designer, and project manager. She holds a BA in Creative Writing and an MS in Instructional Design. Joanna founded World Upside Down nonprofit in 2013 and World Upside Down Arts Studio in 2023 out of a firm belief that creativity is a gift from God and reflects her Creator's beauty, majesty, and infinite love for her. She believes that arts education is the best tool she can use to change the world and give a legacy of hope for the next generation. Part-Time About 20 hours a week within the hours of 8am and 6:00pm. For summer camp hours, our biggest need is between 8am and 1pm and for fall, our biggest need will be between 3pm-6pm. But this is subject to change based on client growth.

Salary:

$20.00 - $24.00/hour (based on education and experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Greenville, SC. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans and provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients primarily in our arts studio, but work could also include community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to clients. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions. Assist in the development of skills for daily living and social interactions. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required. Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred. Active RBT certification or can start as a BT Behavior Technician and complete RBT credentialing within 90 days of start date. Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. You will only drive to our location at World Upside Down Arts Studio located at 1200 Woodruff Road, Building H7, Greenville, SC 29607.
