Job Description
Registered Behavior Technician Hopewell Therapy Services PLLC Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct support and implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with behavioral health needs. This role is essential in fostering positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA. Assist clients in developing skills through applied behavior analysis techniques. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately. Educate clients and their families about behavior management strategies and care plans. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices. Support clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis principles. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and special education. Experience in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is preferred. Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively. Excellent communication skills to educate clients and collaborate with team members.
