In this vital role, you will work directly with children with autism, to implement personalized behavioral therapy plans. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster meaningful progress, promote positive behavior management, and support clients in achieving their fullest potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those you serve while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education.
  • Must be able to pass Federal/State background of 10 yrs
  • Trainees are welcome, but you must have completed the 40 hour online training
  • Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment plans and ensure consistency in intervention strategies Support teaching and skill development through structured sessions tailored to each individual's needs Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust individualized treatment goals for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Foster a safe, positive environment that promotes patience, understanding, and respect for clients' unique needs Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in educational or clinical settings Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Effective teaching skills to support skill acquisition and behavior change goals Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating patience and adaptability in diverse situations Benefits Paid Time Off Insurance Stipend Mental Health Days Paid Birthday Off ETC.
