Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and developmental support. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role is vital in promoting positive behavior change, enhancing daily living skills, and fostering independence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills in behavioral therapy and special education. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' goals. Collect and record data meticulously during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines. Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records securely. Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, independence, and emotional well-being. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), is highly valued. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management is a plus. Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt interventions based on data collection outcomes. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
