Job Description

Tennessee Educational Cooperative is seeking an experienced and collaborative Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and support behavioral services across four East Tennessee school districts. This is an outstanding opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working in educational settings, building effective behavior support systems, and making a meaningful impact on students, staff, and school communities. Position Summary The BCBA will provide leadership for a team of four Behavior Technicians while delivering behavior-analytic services across participating school districts. Responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), providing staff training and professional development, supervision of RBT's and collaborating with educators and administrators to support student success. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of four Behavior Technicians Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide consultation and support to school personnel and administrators Deliver professional development and behavioral training to educators and staff Lead and coordinate TEC's behavior services team Monitor student progress and make data-based recommendations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes Maintain documentation and compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards Qualifications Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Experience working in educational or school-based settings strongly preferred Ability to travel among participating East Tennessee school districts What We Offer Competitive salary Excellent State of Tennessee benefits package Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) retirement benefits School-based work schedule Opportunity to lead a growing behavioral services program Supportive team environment focused on improving outcomes for students If you are passionate about helping schools build effective behavioral supports and want to make a lasting impact across multiple districts, we encourage you to apply.
