Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their growth and independence. Your enthusiasm and compassionate approach will help foster positive behavioral change, enhance communication skills, and promote overall well-being. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence Support clients during teaching sessions, social skills development, and communication exercises tailored to their needs Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and medical records Collaborate with team members to develop care plans and modify strategies based on data collected and client progress Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in educational or clinical settings Excellent data collection skills to track behavioral progress accurately Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and maintaining medical records securely Compassionate communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with families and team members Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of care Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive! $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
