Job Description

BCBA Roles and Responsibilities:
The BCBA is primarily responsible for independently developing, managing, and supervising behavior intervention programs using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The BCBA reports to the Clinical Director if in clinic or remote supporting one specific clinic, if the BCBA is remote supporting multiple clinics, in home or in school they will report to the Regional Clinical Director. BCBAs at Galliant hold the following responsibilities: Ensure billable requirement metric of 360 hours per quarter for full time BCBA are being hit as defined by Leadership Ensure you supervise 2,520 quarterly RBT hours Initial, Ongoing, and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Conduct thorough FBAs to analyze the function of target behaviors Collaborate with team members to gather relevant information for assessments Complete initial assessments with new clients as assigned Submit treatment plan to supervisor within one week of assessment completion Complete all ongoing assessments and submit by due date provided Ensure client and family are included in assessment process and client derived and family derived goals are a component of the treatment plan Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Develop individualized behavior intervention programs based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Ensure BIPs align with individualized goals and objectives Conduct all supervisory and program management responsibilities for families and parent training models of service delivery Follow up at regular intervals with families and staff to ensure successful implementation of interventions and instructional programs Skill Acquisition Develop and implement appropriate targets and programs for skill acquisition based on the principles of ABA Develop and update all programming into Rethink on an ongoing basis Ensure all programming aligns with goals and objectives and is appropriate for client skills, needs, and programming choices Update treatment plans on an ongoing basis to align with programming and target updates Train all staff working with client on skill acquisition programs and ongoing updates Define and determine client assent and assent withdrawal for each client on your caseload and update programming to ensure client assent Data Collection and Analysis Develop, monitor, and analyze individualized data measurement systems for each intervention program Regularly update programming and treatment plans based on data based decisions Collaboration Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide training and support Provide education and training to parents on an ongoing basis Develop individualized goals for parents/caregivers based on the principles of ABA and train and support them on reaching those goals Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff and administrators to develop behavior strategies to be implemented in generalized environments and support a wrap around model of services Maintain regular communication with families Conduct team consultation meetings Help families prepare for school meetings (i.e.
ARD, IEP
) and attend these meeting with families Professional Development Stay current with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis. Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to maintain BCBA certification Prioritize attending ongoing BCBA Team Meetings as available Collaborate with Galliant staff to expand areas of competency as needed and available Supervision Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other team members Provide a minimum of 10% supervision hours for each client across the authorization period Provide regular communication with therapists as needed Ensure appropriate implementation and maintenance of individualized ABA programs Documentation Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress. Prepare reports to update client treatment programs on a regular basis
Who You Are:
Believes that effective ABA therapy is individualistic, customized and assent based Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields. PsyD's are encouraged to apply Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Previous clinic leadership experience Excellent understanding and utilization of ABA Advanced knowledge of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) Experience implementing a variety of standardized assessments, including but not limited to Vineland Behavior Scale, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and EFL Demonstrate ability to communicate with multiple funding sources and parents Enjoys collaborating with RBTs and helping guide them in effective care for the client Why Join Galliant? Our average caseload is 7, most of our team oversees a caseload of 6-9 clients. We are also BCBA-D Owned , Michelle Kuhn has spent her entire career in autism, and is an owner-operator of the company.
