Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits skilled Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians with a passion for supporting student growth. This contract position places you within a dynamic instructional team near Anderson, TX, offering full-time hours during the 2026-27 school year. You'll work closely with educators, related service providers, and student support staff providing hands-on assistance to students in classroom environments or through one-on-one support. In this impactful role, you will help students develop both academically and behaviorally, addressing a range of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Whether working alongside a teacher or providing targeted assistance to an individual student, your compassion, reliability, and collaborative spirit will be key to each child's success.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in school settings, ABA environments, or behavioral support preferred RBT certification (current/former), CPI, or de-escalation training highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Flexible, patient, and eager to work within a team-focused environment Genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in achieving instructional and behavioral goals Implement strategies developed by teachers, Behavior Analysts, or related professionals Assist in creating a safe, nurturing learning atmosphere Provide direct classroom or 1:1 support, adapting as student needs change Collaborate with staff, contributing to positive learning experiences
