This position involves implementing treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and providing support in various settings. The RBT will engage with clients to promote skill development, improve daily living activities, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to enhance their independence. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior for ongoing assessment. Provide direct support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Teach new skills and reinforce positive behaviors through structured interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective behavior management strategies. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of ABA. Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or special education needs. Proficient in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to maintain accurate medical documentation. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions. Ability to manage challenging behaviors while promoting positive outcomes for clients. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they serve through effective behavioral support.
