Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - In-Home ABA - Afternoons •

Part-Time (20 hours/week average) with opportunity to increase hours Shaping Steps ABA is a BCBA-owned, in-home ABA agency serving families across the Austin area. We are hiring an RBT (or experienced Behavior Technician) who is comfortable working in family homes and committed to providing high-quality, consistent services. All clients receive weekly, in-person BCBA supervision. During the initial training period (approximately the first 2 weeks), the BCBA is present for all sessions, with supervision gradually fading as the technician demonstrates competency and confidence.Position Overview:
This role involves providing 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes under weekly in-person BCBA supervision. Sessions are after-school hours and range from 2-3 hours per session. Company iPad and clinical software are provided for data collection and scheduling. You will not be required to use your personal phone or paper data systems.Current Caseload Needs:
Round Rock and North Austin (Anderson Mill area) 2 times per week 2:00-5:00PM sessions, 3 times per week 3:30-6:00PM sessions. In the summer additional 3 times per week 12:30-2:30PPM sessions. Opportunity to add morning sessions starting in the summer as they become available.Responsibilities:
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans Collect and record data accurately Complete session documentation Maintain professionalism in family homes Collaborate weekly with supervisingBCBA Qualifications:
Required:
Active RBT certification or at least 6 months of ABA experience and willingness to obtain RBT certification Reliable transportation and active car insurance CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)Preferred:
Experience providing in-home ABA therapy College degree completed or in progress Career-oriented individuals pursuing BCBA certification Fieldwork supervision hours are available for those pursuing BCBA certification. RBT Pathway (If Not Currently Certified): If hired as aBehavior Technician:
RBT certification is encouraged to expand caseload variety and hours Company provides HiRasmus 40 training access ($100 value) Application and exam fees reimbursed after 4 months of employment 40-hour training completed on personal timeWhat You Can Expect:
